An outstanding effort by Amanda Chidester led the United States National Team (21-1) to a 14-1 win in four innings over the Argentina (0-1) on Thursday at ASA Hall of Fame Stadium.

Chidester racked up six RBIs on three hits for the United States National Team. She homered in the first innings and singled in the third inning.

Everything was working at the plate for the the United States National Team in the first. The Argentina had no answer as the United States National Team scored 12 runs.

Chelsea Thomas kept contact to a minimum, striking out seven the Argentina batters. Thomas allowed no earned runs, three hits and no walks over four innings.

Virginia Diaz was charged with her first loss of the year. She allowed seven runs in one inning, walked one and struck out none.
