Sixth-inning rally sparks blowout win for the United States National Team, 14-2

An eight-run explosion in the sixth inning led the United States National Team (12-0) to a 14-2 win in six innings over the Canada National Team at Softball City one on Saturday.

Valerie Arioto racked up five RBIs on two hits for the United States National Team. She doubled in the sixth inning.

The Canada National Team (3-4) couldn't get anything going as long as Keilani Ricketts was pitching. Ricketts gave up just three hits, allowed no earned runs, walked one and struck out four during her five innings of work.

Karissa Hovinga (0-1) was the game's losing pitcher. She allowed eight runs in 5 2/3 innings, walked two and struck out four.
