Tyler Watkins held the Evansville Otters (18-26) scoreless for six innings to boost the Schaumburg Boomers (28-16) to a 5-0 victory.

Watkins allowed three hits, no walks and struck out four.

Matt Zielinski ended up on the wrong side of the pitching decision, charged with his fourth loss of the year. He lasted just five innings, walked none, struck out four, and allowed five runs.
