The McKinney Marshals (7-22) took the last of five lead changes in a back-and-forth affair against the Brazos Valley Bombers (17-13), securing a 5-4 victory on Thursday at Allen High School.
The McKinney Marshals pulled out the win thanks to a strong third inning. An error scored Wes Jones and gave the McKinney Marshals the lead for good.
The McKinney Marshals would not relinquish the lead as the Brazos Valley Bombers were unable to weather a two-run third inning deficit.
