The Woodlands Strykers (9-21) didn't put up much of a fight on Thursday, as the Brazos Valley Bombers (19-13) cruised to a blowout 11-3 win in seven innings at Stryker Field.

A three-run home run by Brennyn Smith and a two-run home run by Quentin Urban helped the Brazos Valley Bombers score five runs in the sixth. The Brazos Valley Bombers had three hits in the inning.

Smith racked up four RBIs on two hits for the Brazos Valley Bombers.

Brannon Easterling recorded his first win of the year for the Brazos Valley Bombers. He allowed three runs over six innings. He struck out four, walked two and surrendered seven hits.

Derrick Hadley (2-2) was the game's losing pitcher. He lasted just one-third of an inning, walked four, struck out none, and allowed four runs.
