CRHL Partners with Pointstreak for 2003 National Championship Tournament
The Collegiate Roller Hockey League is proud to announce their partnership with Pointstreak to bring you LIVE stats from the 2003 National Championship Tournament (NCT V), presented by USA Hockey InLine!
The 2003 National Championship Tournament will take place April 10-13, 2003 at The Sportsplex in Feasterville, PA, just outside of Philadelphia, marking the fifth installment of the NCT. The event will feature over forty (40) teams competing for the national titles in Division I, Division II, and Division III.
The partnership was announced by Competitive Program Director Jonathan Huck (Pittsburgh, PA), and Pointstreak's Vice-President & CMO, Gregg Sayer (Vancouver, BC).
Pointstreak's Sayer comments, "Pointstreak is thrilled to be at a second consecutive NCT with the CRHL. This year, we plan to showcase our new 'true real-time' feature, meaning that game results will be delivered on a goal-by-goal basis. Up to this point, Pointstreak has focused on proving that our technology is reliable, now our goal is to work with leading organizations to make it affordable and a reality,"
CRHL's Huck adds, "Pointstreak provides the CRHL with the tremendous advantages of reducing the workload in maintaining statistics plus being able to broadcast statistics via the Internet to our fans around the world. We are excited to be working with Pointstreak for the second year in a row."
Pointstreak uses wireless, touch-screen terminals to collect statistical information during games and then uses the Internet to immediately display this information on any computer in the world. For the CRHL, Pointstreak's system will be broadcasting all CRHL National Championship Tournament game statistics in true real-time for media, fans, players and league administrators to view.
Pointstreak is represented exclusively in the United States by Cardinal Sports Management and representatives Scott Secord and Gerry Meehan, who can be reached by telephone at (416) 204-9525 or by email at email@example.com.
